Mistake #4: Inadequate Mobile Office Wiring

Many mobile office units are pre-used, and their age varies widely.  While smaller units typically come equipped with baseboard and through-wall air conditioning, the larger models often come with the much more effective and efficient central HVAC systems.  Some trailers even have the option of using propane heat, which is much easier on your pocketbook.  Check with your vendor to see which options are available to you. 

The other factor in mobile office climate control is the insulation.  While almost all mobile offices come standard with some degree of insulation, depending on your climate and usage, it may be inadequate.  Again, make sure you go over the details of your mobile office’s insulation with your dealer.
