Container Height and Width Summary
ISO Container Sizes - Table
We are focusing on the 10 foot - 40 foot containers since these are typically the sizes being used for onsite storage. Fourty foot and twenty foot ISO containers are the most popular for commercial storage use.
All ISO containers are manufactured to 8 foot widths. Originally, 8 foot was also the common height for containers but that was eventually replaced with the standard 8'6" tall container. If extra height is needed, there are also 9'6" tall versions available called "High Cube Containers".
